Sub Badges and Piping Tips

Baked my own Twitch Sub Badges and tested my favorite piping tips in the process.
Sometimes in my free time, I stream on Twitch, and coming up with sub badge ideas had been a challenge for a while. I like to bake, obviously, so I recently thought, why not bake my own sub badges? And now I’ve finally made it happen.
While doing this project, I also took the chance to test some of my piping tips. I’ve got a small collection, and although I didn’t use all of them, I tested the ones I reach for most to see how they perform.
Baking and decorating cupcakes
I’ve used plain vanilla recipe, and some white muffin papers I had. The cream is plain whipped cream with stabilizer and colorant.

Sub Badges
I’m pretty happy with how they turned out, though there are a few things I would change next time:
I used a magenta tablecloth for the photos, thinking it would be easy to remove — it wasn’t. Next time, I’ll just use a neutral background like a white tablecloth. The magenta gave the cupcakes a slightly pink tint.
The photo angles could’ve been better.
Still, I think the final result looks nice. And with my setup, adding new ones will be easy. I just need to make matching pairs of decorated and undecorated cupcakes.
The tips
I also wanted to compare the piping tips. If you’re interested, you can see the results below.
