I have been comissioned to make a cake, so I made chooclate dough and slapped some bananas + whipped cream in middle.
Trying to go towards different direction than cupcakes, I made a plan cake for Book Club in January. The cakes were The yolk cake (wallnut cake with yolk topping), orange cake, and layered honey cake.
I was asked to make a cake, so I've decided to make it sacher style, but square.
I was stressed, so I baked some cupcake and experimented with decorating them.
Chestnut with chestnut cream, Chocolate and chilli muffin with whipped cream, Banana muffins (eggless) and Apple with caramel cream.
Vanilla chocolate chip, Pumpkin spice with Cheese cream, Coffee with Whipped cream and Orange muffin.
It was pretty hot, and cheesecake was more suitable than a cake for birthday.
We had a picnic style meetup with other book club, so I brought banana bread muffins with tiramisu. Shame the tiramisu melted and spilled, so it didn't stay looking this good.
